  • Results of CapinTech’s cycle of breakfasts

    "Private equity : the actors facing the crisis."

    The three interventions offered a place for discussion and reflection among the players of the ecosystem. These exchanges should help improve the creation and development of young innovative technology companies, which is the main objective of CapinTech. The cycle of 3 breakfasts, met a real hit with members and guests of CapinTech. Nearly 100 persons were present throughout the cycle.

    • Breakfast with Denis Lucquin, President of Sofinnova Partners and Associate Partner. Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009. The discussion has focused on his vision of the changing world of venture capital and its economic model illustrating two main operations : the sale of CoreValve and the acquisition of Sagem Wireless.

    • Breakfast with Philippe Gluntz, President of France Angels. Thursday, July 2nd 2009. The discussion has focused on his vision of the evolution of the profession of Business Angels, on the period of crisis and also on the widening of the investment offer to entrepreneurs with innovative technologies.

    • Breakfast with Gilles Michel, Directeur général du Fonds stratégique d’investissement. The discussion has focused on the role of the Strategic Investment Fund in the development of innovative companies.


  • "Private equity: the participants facing the crisis"

    Cycle breakfast : June,3th, July 2th and September 18th 2009

    CapinTech organise a breakfasts cycle in 2009 with the theme "Private equity : the participants facing the crisis". These breakfasts are reserved to members of the association.

    • Wednesday 3 June 2009. Guest : Denis Lucquin, Chairman of Sofinnova Partners and Associate Partners. The discussion will focus on his vision of the changing world of venture capital and its economic model throught two operations (the sale of CoreValve and the acquisition of "Sagem Wireless").
    • Thursday 2 July 2009. Guest : Philippe Gluntz, President of France Angels.
    • Friday 18 September 2009. Guests : Gilles Michel, Managing Director of the Strategic Investment Fund.

  • "Big companies and innovation"

    The big companies adopt the approach " open innovation " and know that they will have to incorporate technologies, products or innovative services to differentiate better their own offer of products or services. They thus worry to create and to maintain an ecosystem of innovative companies, generally small and medium-sized firms. Naturally, according to the profession by the company and its branch of industry, they have different approaches and set up specific tools.CapInTech collect several people in charge of big companies in charge of this initiative to exchange around their experiments and their questionings.


  • "Facilitate the relationship between Investors and clusters"

    As they became aware of the need to foster the relationship SME Key Accounts "by signing the Covenant SMEs, Clusters took the measure of capital requirements of SMEs. Some of them tied up links with investors, others have set up operations to enable SMEs and investors to meet and promote the link SMEs - Investors. CapInTech identified some of these initiatives, and proposed to investors and the governments of poles to reflect on their development.
